The peninsula offers spots exposed to different wind directions depending on the chosen side. The bottom is sandy and rocky. West and north-west winds are most favourable on the sea side. The spot is very wild and isolated.
Harilaid is a protected area with limited access. No services nearby. The season runs from May to October. The spot is for advanced riders due to isolation and exposure.
