Võrtsjärv Lake is Estonia's second-largest lake and the largest lake entirely within the country. Located in south-central Estonia, it is a popular inland kitesurfing spot.
The lake offers a large flat water surface, ideal for kitesurfing. Average depth is about 2.8 metres. All wind directions work thanks to the large size of the lake (270 km²). Conditions are flat water.
Several access points exist around the lake. The season runs from May to October. In winter, the lake freezes and can be used for snowkiting. The spot suits beginners.
