An Bang Beach is located near Hoi An in Quang Nam Province, central Vietnam. The beach faces east and receives NE monsoon winds from November to March, though wind conditions are less consistent than southern Vietnam's kite spots.

An intermediate spot near the charming UNESCO town of Hoi An. The wide sandy beach offers good launching space. Wind is seasonal and less reliable than Mui Ne or Phan Rang. When the NE monsoon hits, conditions can be good with side-shore winds. Sandy bottom with warm water. The proximity to Hoi An makes it appealing for non-kiting days. Watch for fishing boats and swimmers.
