Samsø Kanhave-Kanal is the optimal launch point in Sælvig Bugt bay on the west coast of Samsø. Waist-deep water for about 100 m with sandy bottom. Stable westerly wind along the bay. Parking and dry toilet at the Kanhave Canal. One of the best progression spots on Samsø.

Shallow water — avoid big jumps to prevent injury on landing. Samsø Bus on Havvejen for car-free access. No major hazards reported — sandy bottom without rocks.
