Svētciems is a coastal village on Latvia's north-east coast, on the Gulf of Riga shore. The spot faces the gulf and offers sailing conditions on the Vidzeme coast.

The beach faces west towards the Gulf of Riga. West to north-west winds are most favourable. The bottom is sandy. The Vidzeme coast is known for its wild and natural character.

Svētciems is an isolated spot with very limited services. The season runs from May to October. The spot suits intermediate riders.
