Senigallia is the pearl of the Marche coast, known as the "velvet beach" for the fineness of its sand. The kite spot is located on the long beach facing the Adriatic, in one of the finest seaside resorts on the coast. The coastline faces east/northeast. The most frequent winds are the Bora (NE, side-offshore), Levante (E, onshore) and Scirocco (SE, side-onshore). Senigallia hosts the Summer Jamboree (rockabilly festival) every summer and offers a quality tourist setting.
