Sachenbach is located in the NE part of Walchensee, accessible from the Urfeld museum car park. Alternative spot to Zwergern, particularly recommended in autumn when the thermal wind doesn't push all the way to the southwest of the lake. Same thermal wind system (NE), but the spot is further north and often gets the wind earlier and for longer in the late season. 40 minutes on foot from the car park (unpaved path — bicycle strongly recommended). Two possible launch areas in the main bay and the next bay 60m to the south.
