Muskegon Lake is a kitesurf spot located on Muskegon Lake, a large inland lake connected to Lake Michigan by a channel, in the city of Muskegon, Michigan. This approximately 17 km² lake offers a sheltered water body with flat water to moderate chop conditions. The lake is protected from Lake Michigan's large waves while benefiting from the same wind systems. Historic port and industrial area converted to recreational space.

Heavy boat traffic with recreational boats, sailboats, and fishing boats. Channel leading to Lake Michigan with currents — avoid. Commercial shipping possible in Muskegon harbor. Port structures, docks, and pilings in some areas. Violent thunderstorms possible in summer with lightning risk — exit water immediately. Water can be turbid in some areas.
