Kitesurf spot in the Isle-Verte and Cacouna area, on the south shore of the St. Lawrence estuary. This zone marks the transition to the maritime Lower St. Lawrence, with the estuary widening considerably. The area is ecologically rich with the Baie-de-L'Isle-Verte National Wildlife Area (salt marshes). Tidal flats are immense and the landscape is dominated by offshore islands. Water becomes saltier than upstream.
