Kitesurf spot at Haldimand Beach, near Gaspé, on the south coast of the Baie de Gaspé. This long sand beach is one of the most beautiful in the region. The spot faces northeast toward the bay opening, catching offshore winds. The beach is easily accessible from Gaspé town with parking. Sandy bottom and progressive depth make it an accessible spot. Views of Forillon Park cliffs to the north.

Baie de Gaspé, south side. Cold salt water (10-15°C in summer). Moderate tides (1-2m). Chop in NE and east wind coming from the open sea through the bay entrance. Sandy bottom with progressive depth. The bay offers semi-protected water. Varied conditions depending on wind direction and strength.
Cold water — 4/3 wetsuit required. Tidal currents in the bay. Wind can be inconsistent due to mountainous terrain. Recreational boating. Popular beach in summer — respect swimmers. The bay opens to the sea — don't drift toward the exit.
