Gamsjaga is a spot on Wolfgangsee, an alpine lake in the Salzkammergut at 538 m altitude. The lake is about 10 km long and nestled between mountains that channel the winds. The thermal wind blows regularly in summer, mainly east to west along the lake. The setting is exceptional with forested mountains and the historic village of St. Wolfgang as a backdrop.
