Chałupy is the most iconic kitesurfing spot in Poland, on the Hel peninsula. This access point is on the Puck Bay side, with flat water conditions and shallow depth over a vast area. The sandy bottom and shallow water make it a perfect spot for beginners and freestyle. Many kitesurfing schools are based here, making Chałupy the nerve centre of Polish kiting. As the peninsula is very narrow, winds from almost all directions are usable. West and south-west winds are the most frequent in season.
