On the water

Very shallow water — barely 1 m depth 100 m from shore. Flat water in south wind (side-shore), small chop in easterly wind (onshore). Fine sand bottom. Water warms up nicely in July-August due to the shallow depth.

Hazards

West and NW winds blow offshore — dangerous, drift risk towards the Øresund. Jellyfish possible. Popular family beach with swimmers in summer. Greve Marina nearby — boat traffic. East/SE wind less frequent than prevailing westerlies.
