Greve Strand is on the west coast of Køge Bugt, south of Copenhagen. 8 km artificial beach created in the 1980s. The spot faces east towards the Øresund. Very shallow water (1 m depth at 100 m from shore). Works in south to southeast winds. Secondary local spot, poorly documented.
Very shallow water — barely 1 m depth 100 m from shore. Flat water in south wind (side-shore), small chop in easterly wind (onshore). Fine sand bottom. Water warms up nicely in July-August due to the shallow depth.

West and NW winds blow offshore — dangerous, drift risk towards the Øresund. Jellyfish possible. Popular family beach with swimmers in summer. Greve Marina nearby — boat traffic. East/SE wind less frequent than prevailing westerlies.
