Bogense is a shallow flat water spot on the north coast of Funen. Large shallow area ideal for learning. The spot works with a wide arc of northerly and westerly winds. Caution: in strong SW to W winds, water gets pushed out and it becomes too shallow to ride.

Flat, very shallow water — large area ideal for flat water riding. In strong SW/W winds, water gets pushed out of the spot. Sandy bottom. Small sandy beach with grassy rigging area.
STAKES in the water — caution required. Nature reserve: stay away from the small Mageøerne islands north of the beach from 1 March to 31 August (nesting season). Small parking behind the dike. In strong SW/W winds, spot can become unrideable (water too shallow).
