Køge is a spot on the coast of Køge Bugt (Køge Bay), south of Copenhagen. The bay is remarkably shallow (max 10 m) and offers calm, flat conditions in south to southwest winds. Underrated spot, quiet and safe with lots of space and very few kitesurfers. No parking directly at the beach.
Open all year round

Very shallow water throughout the bay. Flat water in SW wind (side-shore), slightly choppy in easterly wind (onshore). Sandy bottom. No significant tidal influence.
No parking directly at the beach — that's why the spot remains uncrowded. West and NW winds blow offshore — drift risk into the bay. Little-known spot — few kitesurfers for assistance. Very shallow areas with possible obstacles.
