Overview

Pennedepie is a kitesurf spot on the Côte de Grâce (Calvados), on the south shore of the Seine estuary between Honfleur and the Normandy Bridge. This stretch of flat sandy beach faces north-west across the estuary, catching West to North-West winds.

Tidal spot — large tidal range on the Seine estuary. Maritime traffic from Le Havre requires strict attention to navigation rules. A quiet alternative to the busier Honfleur area with a similar wind profile.
