Perranporth is a large sandy beach on the north coast of Cornwall, facing northwest towards the Atlantic. One of the most popular surf spots in Cornwall with 3 km of beach. Good kitesurfing conditions with cross-shore southwest winds.
Large pay car park at the end of the beach. Additional parking in the village. Very busy in summer.
Hazards
Powerful Atlantic swell. Strong rip currents — one of the most dangerous beaches in Cornwall. Rocks exposed at low tide. Very many surfers in season.
