Overview

Playa de Las Canteras is the main urban beach of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, on the northwest coast. Known primarily as a bodyboard and surf spot (home of La CĂ­cer), it also sees some kitesurfing and was mentioned as a kite/bodyboard spot. Conditions are variable and not as consistent as the east coast for kiting.
