Het Zwin is a kitesurf spot near Cadzand-Bad on the North Sea, close to the Het Zwin nature reserve on the Belgian border (Zeeland). Wide sandy beach, good wave conditions, North Sea exposure. The Het Zwin nature reserve is a major bird sanctuary — respect all zone boundaries.
Works well with N/NW/W/SW onshore winds. Intermediate level due to North Sea waves and groynes. Close to Belgian coast (Knokke-Heist visible to the south). Good alternative or complement to Cadzand-Bad (2km east). MOIO kitesurf school operates at Cadzand-Bad nearby. Year-round accessible.
NKV zone on site — read the signs. Zwin nature reserve (east) strictly off-limits. GPS: Het Zwin, Cadzand, Zeeland. Access via coastal road from Cadzand-Bad toward the Belgian border (Knokke-Heist direction).

North Sea — waves with W/NW/SW wind. Choppy. Sandy bottom. Groynes visible at low tide. Large tidal range. Cold year-round. Similar to Cadzand-Bad (2km away).
Parking near Cadzand-Bad / Het Zwin beach. GPS: Het Zwin, Cadzand-Bad, Zeeland. Follow signs to Cadzand-Bad from N61, then to Het Zwin beach area. MOIO kite school/beach pavilion De Zeemeeuw nearby.
N/NW/W/SW all work. Similar patterns to Cadzand-Bad (2km east). Slightly more sheltered from E due to Het Zwin reserve headland. Best autumn/winter for strongest wind.
Pole rows in the water — know positions before launching. Nature reserve area nearby — respect zone boundaries. Tide-dependent access. Booties recommended (shells/oysters on bottom in some areas). NKV zone rules apply.
