Paal 6 is an advanced North Sea kitesurf spot north of Callantsoog, on the remote northern Noord-Holland coast between Den Helder and the Waddenzee. Named after the beach pole marker system used along this coast. Wide, wild beach with strong consistent wind, minimal crowds.
Expert/advanced level — isolated location, strong North Sea conditions. One of the wilder Noord-Holland coast spots. Good for big air, waves, and fast freeride. Access requires a walk through the dunes. Spectacular scenery — nature reserve area.
Access via Callantsoog beach approach, then walk north along the beach to Paal 6. No permanent beach facilities — self-sufficient. GPS: Paal 6, Callantsoog coast, Noord-Holland. Access from N9 via Callantsoog.
North Sea — medium to large waves in strong W/NW. Strong currents. Remote. Large tidal range. Cold year-round. Advanced minimum.
