Handbjerg Marina is a flat water spot on the Limfjord, located at the bottom of Venø Bugt, 7 km east of Struer. South shore of the bay. The official Destination Limfjorden page rates W and NW winds as best (5/5). Island marina with beach to the east and water access to the north. Ideal for all levels.
Limfjord flat water (Venø Bugt), south shore. Shallow waters with sandy bottom. West and northwest winds create the best conditions (flat water in the lee of the marina). Wetsuit recommended.

Boat traffic around the marina. Port infrastructure (pontoons, quays) to avoid. The fjord can freeze over in winter.
