Störmthaler See is a lake located south of Leipzig in Saxony. This lake, formed from a former lignite mine, offers a modern body of water for kitesurfing. West and southwest winds dominate. The lake provides a flat water surface suited for beginners and intermediates. Störmthaler See is part of Leipzig's new lakeland landscape.
