Hals Egense is a flat water spot on the Limfjord, east of Aalborg, near the fjord's mouth towards the Kattegat. Located on the south shore of the Langerak (the eastern arm of the Limfjord). Sheltered fjord waters, ideal for beginners.

Narrow channel — watch for Hals-Egense ferry traffic. Commercial navigation toward the Kattegat. Currents in the channel. The fjord can freeze over in winter.
