Overview

L'Houmeau is a kitesurf spot on the Charente coast north of La Rochelle, facing the Ile de Ré. The sheltered position gives flat water in northeast and northwest winds. A local spot for light wind foiling and wing sessions. Tidal range is very significant — sessions only possible around mid to high tide.
