Sable Island is an island in Lake of the Woods in northwestern Ontario. Not to be confused with Sable Island in Nova Scotia. The island offers sandy beaches in a wild setting amid this immense lake of 14,500 islands.
Access only by boat. Extremely isolated spot. Lake of the Woods offers significant fetch in some directions between islands. For experienced, fully self-sufficient riders. Season: June to September.
