North Sea — but sheltered by offshore sandbanks, giving flatter water than typical. Light waves to medium swell. Can do downwinder to Oostvoorne. Above 25 knots gets choppy. Tidal range. Cold year-round.
W/NW/N/NE onshore best. SW possible. Sandbanks reduce swell — flatter conditions than open North Sea. Good for beginners and freestyle. Downwinder possible to Oostvoorne (ride back upwind or arrange shuttle). Year-round.
April–September: kite only north of entry 2 and south of entry 1. Large sandbanks block direct ocean swell — choppy above 25 knots.
