Spot de Carcross

Carcross

Carcross

Overview

Carcross is a legendary spot in the Yukon at 60°N, on Bennett and Nares Lakes in the Carcross area — famous for being home to the world's smallest desert (Carcross Desert). This subarctic spot offers a unique kitesurfing experience: riding on glacial lakes surrounded by spectacular mountains, with the Carcross sand desert as a backdrop. Mountain valleys powerfully channel the wind. Very short season (June-August). Ultimate adventure destination for explorer kitesurfers.
