Lake Georgetown is a US Army Corps of Engineers reservoir in Williamson County, just north of Georgetown and about 30 miles north of Austin. This 1,310-acre lake nestled in the Texas Hill Country offers a scenic setting for kitesurfing. The lake is fed by the North Fork of the San Gabriel River. The surrounding limestone cliffs and hills create a unique landscape for a freshwater kite session.
