Tūja is a coastal village on Latvia's north-east coast, on the Gulf of Riga shore, in the Vidzeme region. The Vidzeme coast is known for its red sandstone cliffs.

The beach faces west towards the Gulf of Riga. West to north-west winds are most favourable. The bottom can be rocky in places with sandy areas. The rocky Vidzeme coast gives the spot a distinctive character.

Tūja is a relatively isolated spot with limited services. The season runs from May to October. The spot suits intermediate riders.
