Pretty Pool is a kitesurfing spot located in Port Hedland, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. This picturesque spot is known for its natural tidal pools and mangroves. Pretty Pool only works at high tide with southeast wind, making it primarily a southern winter spot. The southeast winter winds can be quite strong but rarely extreme, with a 9m kite as the usual minimum size. In summer, northwest/west-northwest winds blow in the late afternoon but are lighter than in southern Western Australia, requiring 12 to 14m kites. Access is via sand dunes leading to the beach.
