Fabodsand is a kitesurfing spot located in Vasterbotten, on the Gulf of Bothnia coast near Umea. This spot offers a sandy beach with easy water access. The exposure is mainly east and southeast, benefiting from Gulf of Bothnia winds. The water area is open with enough fetch to generate chop. The spot is frequented by kitesurfers from the Umea area. The sailing season is short, from May to October, due to the northern latitude.
