Ustka is a charming port town on the Polish Baltic coast, with a long seaside tradition. The central kitesurfing spot is located on the town's main beach. The fine sand beach faces due north, towards the Baltic Sea. Conditions are typical of a Baltic coastal spot: chop and small waves in north winds, calmer conditions in west winds (side-shore). The port divides the beach into two east and west sections. West to northwest winds are the most favorable. Ustka is an intermediate spot, less crowded than the Hel Peninsula, offering a more relaxed atmosphere. The town has good tourist infrastructure.
