Red Beach is a kitesurfing spot located on the Hibiscus Coast, north of Auckland. This west-facing beach overlooks the Hauraki Gulf and offers relatively calm water sailing conditions. The water area is suited for beginners and intermediate riders with a sandy bottom. SW to W winds are the most favorable. Tides strongly influence the water area, with very shallow zones at low tide. The spot is close to Orewa and other Hibiscus Coast beaches.
