Solsidan Ekero is a kitesurfing spot located on Ekero Island, west of Stockholm. This spot is on Lake Malaren, the third largest lake in Sweden. The water area offers freshwater conditions with moderate chop. The exposure allows sailing mainly in south to west winds. The spot is easily accessible from Stockholm and offers a pleasant setting with a lake view. The bottom is shallow near the shore, making launches easy.
