Holgate is located at the southern tip of Long Beach Island, near the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge. The bay side offers flat waters with access to Little Egg Harbor Bay. Note: the southern tip is a wildlife refuge area with seasonal access restrictions for bird nesting. Check regulations before sailing there.
