Overview

Bushy Park is a kitesurfing spot on Guyana's Atlantic coast, in the Essequibo Islands-West Demerara region. This spot offers access to the Atlantic Ocean from a coastal area west of Georgetown.

Northeast trade winds blow consistently, particularly during the dry season (February to April and September to November). The Atlantic water offers chop with currents. Water is brown and muddy.

The spot suits intermediate riders. The environment is rural and undeveloped for kitesurfing.
