Overview

Faoug is a spot on the south shore of Lake Morat (Murtensee), in the canton of Vaud. Lake Morat is the smallest of the three large lakes at the foot of the Jura mountains. It is about 8 km long and benefits from regular thermal winds in summer. The spot is relatively accessible and the lake is shallow, making it warmer than the neighboring larger lakes.
