Overview

Pyeongtaek-ho is an inland lake spot in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, near Pyeongtaek. This freshwater lake offers a sheltered alternative to the open ocean west coast spots. The lake catches W and NW winds and provides flat water conditions ideal for freestyle, freeride, and learning.

As a lake spot, there are no tidal concerns, making it more predictable than the coastal alternatives. The flat water and consistent depth make it particularly good for beginners and intermediate riders looking to progress their skills.
