Chunjangdae Beach is located on the west coast of South Korea in Chungcheongnam-do. This beach faces west toward the Yellow Sea and is a well-known summer resort area that also offers kitesurfing conditions during the windier months. The west-facing orientation catches NW and W winds effectively.

Like most west coast Korean spots, significant tidal variation affects the riding conditions. Plan sessions around mid to high tide for the best water depth. The beach is sandy with gentle gradient, suitable for intermediate kiters.
