Aktau Barhan is a kitesurfing spot located on the Caspian Sea coast in Aktau, the main seaside city of western Kazakhstan. The spot is named after the sand dunes (barkhans) that line the coast. The water area is relatively flat with a sandy bottom. Prevailing winds blow from the north and south along the coast.
