Al Mafjar is a kitesurfing spot located in the north of Qatar, in the municipality of Madinat ash Shamal. This spot offers an open water area on the Persian Gulf with regular windy conditions. The northwest Shamal dominates the wind conditions. The water is shallow with a sandy bottom. A spacious and uncrowded spot, offering a vast sailing area.
