Tsunami Kite Village is a kitesurfing center located on the southeast coast of Zanzibar, between Paje and Bwejuu. The spot faces east onto the Indian Ocean and benefits from the southeast trade winds during the Kusi season (June to October). The coral reef creates a flat water lagoon at low tide, ideal for kitesurfing. The tide dramatically transforms the conditions: at low tide, a vast shallow reef flat is exposed. The spot is perfect for beginners thanks to the flat water conditions and regular wind.
