Kreefte Baai ("Crayfish Bay") is a spot on the Melkbosstrand coast, between Big Bay and Melkbos Beach. This reef break offers advanced wave riding conditions with the south-easterly Cape Doctor. The spot gets its name from the crayfish (kreef in Afrikaans) found on the reef. Technical conditions on rocky reef, reserved for experienced riders.
Works with SW swell and SE Cape Doctor. Waves breaking on the reef. Best at mid to high tide. Advanced wave riding spot.

South-easterly Cape Doctor, side-onshore to side-shore. Wind of 15 to 35 knots from October to March. Wind is similar to the rest of the Bloubergstrand/Melkbos coast.
