Botrivier Lagoon (Bot River Lagoon) is a large brackish water lagoon between Kleinmond and Hawston, separated from the sea by a sand bar. The lagoon offers a flat and expansive water body, perfect for beginner kitesurfing and freestyle. It's one of the largest lagoons in the region with plenty of space to ride.
Works in SE from October to March. Lagoon water level varies with seasons and the mouth opening to the sea. When the level is good, flat water conditions are excellent. Wind picks up early afternoon.
