Red River Park is a kitesurf spot on the western shore of Lake Michigan in the Kewaunee area of Wisconsin. Lake Michigan offers immense fetch and can generate significant waves in east winds. Good beach access with launch area. Spot exposed to Lake Michigan conditions. Season from May to October.
Lake Michigan freshwater with waves possible in east winds. Significant fetch allows substantial chop to develop. Depth increases quickly. Cold water requiring thick wetsuit except in midsummer.
