Monck Provincial Park is located on the north shore of Nicola Lake, near Merritt. This provincial park provides lake access with a beach, campground and boat launch. The westerly wind is channelled along the lake. Alternative launch point on Nicola Lake with provincial park facilities (restrooms, picnic tables, camping).
Fresh water. Conditions identical to Nicola Lake — flat to choppy water, good E-W fetch. Sandy bottom. Warm water in summer. The north shore can be slightly more protected depending on wind direction.

Boat traffic (boats, jet-skis). Gusty wind possible. Boat launch shared with motorboats. Provincial park — follow park rules.
