Colonel Samuel Smith Park is a lakefront park in Etobicoke (west Toronto). The artificial headland creates a small sheltered bay on the east side and open water on the west side. The beach faces south on Lake Ontario.
Parking in the park. Launch possible on either side of the headland depending on conditions. The park is also used for walking and cycling — watch for pedestrians on the beach.

Rocks and riprap around the artificial headland — keep distance. Cohabitation with walkers and cyclists. Variable water quality after rain. Cold water in spring.
