Lake Lavon is a medium-sized lake, less crowded than Lake Lewisville or Ray Hubbard, offering more tranquility. The S/SE wind blows well on this lake open to the Texas prairies.
Fresh water of Lake Lavon. Muddy bottom. Flat to choppy water. No tide. Warm water in summer. Open lake with good fetch. Less boat traffic than the larger DFW lakes.
