Sterling State Park is a kitesurf spot located on the western shore of Lake Erie, near Monroe, in southeastern Michigan. It is Michigan's only state park on Lake Erie. The park offers a sandy beach and direct access to the shallow waters of western Lake Erie. Northeast to southeast winds generate waves on the lake. The area is near the River Raisin mouth and coastal marshes that attract abundant wildlife.
