North Point State Park is a kitesurfing spot in the northern part of the Chesapeake Bay, near Baltimore. This state park on the North Point peninsula offers bay access with fetch to the south. It's the closest spot to Baltimore for bay kitesurfing. The historic park, site of the Battle of North Point during the War of 1812, offers a pleasant natural setting with trails and wooded areas. Good spot for riders in the Baltimore area.

Commercial maritime traffic — Port of Baltimore nearby. Tidal currents. Jellyfish in summer. Floating debris possible from the port. State park area — follow regulations. Thunderstorms possible in summer.
